Updates to the Fairfax County Public Schools section have begun! The photo gallery has been updated by moving all the 1989, 1990, & 1991 Blue Bird's into the "retired" section of the gallery. Future plans include adding many more buses, both active and retired to the gallery. We've also updated the retired buses page with information on the buses that were retired in 2009. Sadly though, no photos were available to add to that page. On the flip side, the new buses page has been updated with photos of the new 2010 model buses that were received in the Spring of 2009. In addition, 3 new FCPS buses have been added:

Added 6 new yard shots! These new yard shots are from the Sonny Merryman Inc facility in Bristow, VA. Sonny Merryman is Virginia's largest school and passenger bus dealer, as well as the dealer for Thomas Built Buses. In 2008 they opened a new service center in Bristow, just outside of Manassas.
We've also removed the Hampton City Public Schools yard shots and merged them with the Kingmor Supply, Inc yard shots. You'll notice there are now 4 photos instead of the original 2. Since the Hampton City photos were taken at Kingmor, it felt more appropriate to categorize the photos based upon photo location.
We've added a new special gallery as well. This galley features various Odds and Ends that just don't fit anywhere else. Our first "odd and end" has been posted.
Finally, you may have noticed some changes to our main front page. Some items were moved around and some re-organization has taken place on the main menu. Hopefully these minor changes will make navigating and understanding our site much easier. And as always, we are welcome to suggestions and feedback. Please Contact Us!

Hello! Finally the webmaster has some much needed time off from work! Currently we are in the process of doing a massive update. Due to the extensive size and amount of new content to be added, this will be done in sections. We are looking at possibly over 500 new buses being added. Buses from all over the Washington D.C. area, including VA, MD, PA, and WV. We also have many new exclusive FCPS related photos to be added as well. For our first section, we have several new photos added to several Alexandria City Public Schools (VA) buses:
This month we also have two buses that have been selected as "School Bus of The Month". The first is Williams Bus Lines unit #1, a 2009 Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2. This bus was selected in honor of Rick Williams, the founder of the company who past away on November 6, 2009. Our second bus is a 2010 Blue Bird Vision, selected in honor of Michael Lunsford. Lunsford was the director of transportation for Loudoun County Public Schools and he passed away on July 8, 2009.
